The Gig.

This is an entry-level role — you don't need years of experience. You do need some real design work under your belt (social graphics, carousels, or campaign assets), a sharp eye, and a serious hunger to get better fast.

You'll create client templates, social graphics, carousels, campaign assets, and branded visuals across multiple accounts, working alongside our social media managers, editors, and leadership.

This is not a role for someone who just wants to make pretty graphics. Design here isn't decoration, it's psychology and communication. Your job is to make the message land.

Who This Is For.

  • You're an early-career designer who genuinely gets social media.
  • You think about WHY a design works — the hook, the hierarchy, the order people read things.
  • You can switch between different brand identities without losing the plot.
  • You care about psychology of design just as much as spacing, typography, hierarchy, and colour.
  • You're organized, fast, and you can take a brief and run with it.
  • You take blunt feedback well.
  • You're Canada-based and want a full-time role with a fast-moving creative team.

What You'll Do.

  • Design static graphics, carousels, stories, and campaign assets for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Build and maintain branded templates for client accounts
  • Turn written copy into strong, scroll-stopping social graphics that actually communicate
  • Work with social media managers to bring monthly content plans to life visually
  • Follow brand guidelines while keeping designs current and creative
  • Support new client onboarding by building visual systems and templates
  • Make revisions quickly, cleanly, and professionally
  • Keep files, graphics, and design assets organized
  • Design with strategy in mind, not just aesthetics

What You Bring.

  • Some real social media design work to show — graphics, templates, carousels, or campaign assets (portfolio, school projects, freelance, or personal brand work all count)
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva, plus any other design tools you use
  • A clean eye for layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • An instinct for what works on social and what gets scrolled past
  • The ability to follow a brand guide without making everything feel boring
  • Fast turnaround without sloppy work
  • Sharp communication and strong attention to detail
  • A thick skin, a fast-learning mindset, and the ability to make feedback your friend
  • A genuine love for design, social media, and creative work

What You Won't Have to Do.

  • Sit on sales calls
  • Manage backend ops, invoicing, or contracts
  • Build the entire social strategy on your own
  • Chase clients for approvals
  • Figure it all out alone with no system

What we handle for you: Clients are already brought in. Social media managers lead client communication and content direction. Our ops team handles backend systems, scheduling, and organization. You'll get clear briefs, brand guidelines, and proven content systems to work from. Your job is to make the visuals hit.

The Offer.

  • Pay — $22/hr, full-time
  • Remote + flexible — work from anywhere, as long as you hit your deadlines
  • Room to grow — this is an entry point. Designers who prove themselves move up: more ownership, more responsibility, more pay
  • Real brands — your designs get posted, seen, and used
  • No corporate BS — we value speed, ownership, creativity, and quality over politics and process
  • A fun, young team that actually cares about the work

Don't Apply If.

  • You're not based in Canada.
  • You're looking for a slow, comfy design job.
  • You can't take blunt, constructive feedback without getting defensive.
  • You miss deadlines.
  • You need every small step explained to you.
  • You think Canva is beneath you.
  • You only want to design logos.
  • You make graphics that look good but don't communicate anything.
